Model 870 is a mechanical steering system designed so the operator may be positioned in the front of the boat. This system carries a manufacturers recommended maximum 70 HP for outboard engines and a 90 HP maximum for jet drives. Stainless steel rotating drum. System is self lubricating and needs not additional lubricants within the helm. "Cor-Lock" design locks the cable to the drum for added safety. The interlocking lever to the steering shaft relieves the possibility of the lever slipping from its position. One year factory warranty.
