Winchester Ammunition expands its offering in 204 Ruger with the addition of a 32 grain Ballistic Silvertip load.
The Ballistic Silvertip bullet is a co-development with Nosler, Inc. It combines a Ballistic Tip design with Winchester?s proprietary Lubalox coating.
The new 204 Ruger bullet is designed for varmint hunting, producing rapid expansion and fragmentation upon impact. This load is also very flat shooting. When sighted in for 200 yards, the 32 grain bullet drops just 4.4 inches at 300 yards and 13.9 inches at 400 yards. The new cartridge has a sizzling muzzle velocity of 4,150 feet per second, and the muzzle energy is 1,224 foot-pounds.
