The Gunfish is the best "pencil popper" like lure for capturing highly active bass from early summer to late fall. With its highly technical gravity tungsten resin weight, an unparalleled casting distance and a wide-ranging area using wide skating and a variety of actions, active bass cannot resist it. Wide skating produces an appealing splashing sound that allows baitfish to boil and schooling bass to be thrown into confusion. The strong backwash that is produced from the large skating action has the drawing power to attract bass from as much as 10 feet below the surface.
