Water tight "O" ring seal. Molded from Tuff Engineering grade plastic. Stainless steel lift ring - stores flat regardless of pointer or pawl position. Water tight soft vinyl seal for aluminum lids. Visible pointer to indicate locked or latched position. Double "D" shaped mounting to prevent rotation of housing when installed on aluminum lids. One hex nut installation. Rotates 360 deg. right or left. Pawl adjustment requires only a phillips type screwdriver. For aluminum lids.
