Burris Laser Scope riflescope with the Burris Ballistic Plex Reticle and a Black Matte finish, Burris model 200110. The click adjustments are 1/4" at 100 yards (1/4 MOA).

Burris has once again proven that they are one of the best manufacturers of premier shooting optics with the introduction of their new LaserScope. This innovative design combines a Laser Range Finder (LRF) with a conventional 4-12 X 42 rifle scope. This long awaited combination yields the vivid, bright and crystal clear high quality optics that Burris has made their sterling reputation on; the ability to withstand sever recoil; a Laser Range Finder that is one of the best on the market and the Burris Balistic Plex Reticle that allows for instant hold over adjustment.

Sports optics such as rifle scopes and handgun scopes can be broken into catagories based on their magnification or power.

Close Range: Red Dot scopes and scopes rated 1X, 2X or variable power such as 1-5X and 2-7X are for short range use like hunting in dense brush or hunting wild boar and other dangerous game. Many handgun scopes as well as shotgun, slug gun, black powder rifle, and 22 caliber rimfire scopes are in this power range. The lower power scopes will usually be lighter in weight and have a wider field of view than higher power scopes.
