Hunting is a complete outdoor activity. The hunters need to brave the elements of nature and still maintain their concentration, so that they can get their game. For a specialized activity like hunting, the hunters need specialized clothing too. These specialized clothes are known as hunting clothes. A standard set of hunting clothes will consist of a jacket, a shirt, a hat, a pair of gloves, a pair of knee length boots and a pair of socks. At times, the jacket is replaced by vests. Hunting clothes for summer season are made of light but strong materials, so that there is enough ventilation for the hunter, without endangering his security. The most important attribute of the hunting clothes is that they should be easy to clean. The hunters have to pursue the animals irrespective of adverse conditions and terrains. It is very difficult for them to keep their hunting clothes clean. So, it is absolutely necessary that the hunting clothes be made of such materials, which can be cleaned easily. The hunting clothes also must have certain other facilities for the hunters. The hunting clothes must have enough pockets at proper locations, in which the hunter can store his ammunitions. The hunting clothes must also have more padding at the shoulders, so that it can partly absorb the impact of the gun, after firing. The hunting clothes are ideally made of leather or there is an excessive use of leather in it, as leather is easy to clean and gives ample protection. Today, certain synthetic fabrics are also being used to manufacture the hunting clothes.
